Weight-loss and body odor

People own a misconception that the sweat is the cause of unpleasant odor but sweat itself is odorless and it is the bacteria which cause the unpleasant odor. The growth rate of these bacteria is enhanced with the presence of sweat. Body odor is mainly associated with skin. The sweat is generally caused by two types of glands, the eccrine glands which are spread all over the body and the apocrine glands spread in some specific places of our body. Body odor is usually caused when the bacteria, grown on skin decompose the sweat. Worries, fear and tension are triggered by apocrine glands. It is evident that among the under-weight people there persists a sense of self-low-esteem. This leads to a psychological problem like depression. The depressed people always sweat a great deal. Due to stimulated apocrine glands the sweat mingled with some noxious particles cause body odor. Again malnutrition plays a crucial factor behind the body odor. Owing to severe depression and recurring anxiety the food ingested is not assimilated in a proper manner. This process causes indigestion. Indigestion leads to toxification and as a result body odor ensues. The more one is anxious the more he sweats. This profuse sweating is not at all friendly to him; it always leads to severe body odor.
